Dave and Lou Seideman are the owners of Charlie's Place, founded in loving memory of their son Charlie. Charlie died at the age of 17 in 2001. Lou and Dave did not want their son to be forgotten. They thought if they had a piece of property to host retreats people would get to know Charlie and remember him. They found the perfect place on FM 261 that was about 8 acres, had great lake access and a house. Since then Charlie's Place has hosted many retreats for children, teenagers and adults, with many more scheduled. |
